Join us on a journey through a soundscape of music to help restore and balance your energy and vitality. Relax to the sounds of singing bowls, a gong, drums, keyboard and chimes to take away stress and trauma of your lives.
Allow the soothing sounds to heal your mind, body & spirit. Please bring something comfortable to lie on or we will provide a chair if you’re sitting upright.
Wear soft, comfy clothing and bring anything that keeps you warm and comforts you. Pillows and warm blankets or covers are good too.
All you need do is lay back, close your eyes and relax. A warm drink will be provided and time to rest after the session is finished.
Held in the beautiful Yoga Room in Drighlington Health Hub. Please park on the same side as the building. Please arrive and be settled in by 6.50 pm.
Paymment: £8 per person. Early booking is essential and places are limited so you can secure via Paypal using the email: firstname.lastname@example.org or pop in and pay cash prior to the event. You can also do a quick bank transfer if you message us at the Hub.

Hi Everyone!! This is information regarding “Lazy Sunday Morning Yoga Class” Sunday 2nd September 10.30 -12.30 cost £10
“Lazy Sunday Morning” Is a lovely relaxing yoga class, it is Kundalini Yoga. Kundalini yoga is a complete science and a wonderful practice. It is transformational, when you start a kundalini class/practice the magic begins!!!💞 I will give you more information on kundalini when you arrive.
I would be grateful if possible if you could arrive at least 10 mins before, you can make a drink and settle on your mat for a prompt start at 10.30 (the morning flies by 😀)
We start with some Pranayama (breath work) generally just to help you to relax, to focus your mind on your practice and set your intention for the morning.
We then do some gentle warm ups before starting our Kriya (a kriya is a set of postures), we will have a short relaxation and a 10 min break with fruit and a drink. We then focus on a beautiful meditation with mudra (hand positions) along with sanskrit mantra to music. We will finish either with a yoga nidra, or a guided visualization relaxation.
This class helps you to connect with your authentic self, your truth, your Soul your Sat Nam! It will help you to feel relaxed but energised ready to start a new week.
I am really looking forward to seeing you all, and meeting those of you who haven’t attended a class with us before.
We have mats, you may prefer your own and if you decide to do yoga regularly I always encourage you to buy your own, it is a commitment to yourself. Fetch a lovely warm blanket for relaxation, even if it is a warm day, after a yoga practice you need to surround yourself in a blanket keeping the energies in and allowing your body to process any changes whilst relaxing. All yoga classes are suitable for all abilities unless we state otherwise, “If you can breathe, you can do yoga” Yogi Bhajan.
