What is Dru Yoga? Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of Yoga, based on flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation

How can it help me? Set firmly in ancient Yogic tradition, Dru works on body, mind and spirit – improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability, building a heightened feeling of positivity, and deeply relaxing and rejuvenating your whole being

Who is it suitable for? Dru Yoga is for everyone…Designed to be practised by people of all ages and abilities, all fitness levels, and all age groups. Dru Yoga is a style of yoga that can be quickly dipped into or learnt in more depth over a lifetime.

Beginner’s Kundalini Yoga @ Drig HH

This new intoduction to Kundalini Yoga will start on 15th April at 7pm-8.30pm on Monday evenings. (excluding Bank Holiday Mondays – 22nd April / 6th May / 27th May).

Bethan ‘Harshabad Kaur’ our Yogi will be taking you through a beginner’s introduction to Kundalini pYoga that is suitable for all.

Kundalini Yoga is a great practise to help with anxiety, depression and wellbeing. The uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices of Kundalini Yoga incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras. The goal is to build physical vitality and increase conciousness.

This course will be broken up into 2 x 4 week blocks. Early bird pre booking price is £36 (per 4 week block) – must be paid by 12th April for Early bird discount to apply.  Paying at the 1st session is £40 (per 4 week block)

Anger Management Course – Funded places available @ Drighlington Health Hub

Run in small groups our anger management programme is run as a psycho-educational group. This means that you will learn practical models to help understand and control your anger.  You will also have the time and space to explore your own anger process and uncover the thinking patterns that may contribute to your anger issues.
  • Understand the REAL nature of Anger and learn techniques that will work for ANYONE, even if you currently feel powerless to change. You will end up feeling calm, confident and assertive.
  • In addition, you will learn powerful models from Transactional Analysis to help you understand your relationships with others.  This will also help you to avoid anger situations by being appropriately assertive and problem-solving.
  • By the end of the course, you will  have written your own unique action plan that will help you control your anger in any situation
All our course leaders are working clinicians so they can be flexible about how each programme is delivered ensuring each group member gets the best possible experience.

The group programme is semi-structured combining essential learning with an opportunity to explore your individual anger process. Each course is run in small groups which means that you get as much individual attention as you require.

We constantly monitor outcomes to ensure that we are providing the highest level of service

The next course starts on Thursday 25 April at our new home in Drighlington Health Hub, ideally located close to J27 of the M62. Booking form to follow soon.  The cost of the course is £49 with free places available for those on benefits.
