Drighlington Health Hub continues to develop & expand its extensive range of low cost therapy offering, and we are delighted to launch Group Psychotherapy based on the psycho-analytical approach – ‘therapy by the group, for the group.’
The first group will be most suitable for people experiencing anxiety, low mood or depression. The groups will meet over 20 weeks for 90 minutes per session. The participants will join in ‘free flowing’ conversations which will help to explore and reflect on their feelings and the group will also join a common quest for solutions to issues raised.
Typically the group will have a maximum of nine members which includes the ‘group analyst’ themselves. The cost of each session will be £5 unwaged or £10 for those working. Our sessions will run from 7.00 pm – 8.30 pm. Participants can self refer. Call us on 0113 285 2899 or fill in the form on our low cost counselling page.
